About Me

I have had little formal training, but while attending Sowerby Bridge Grammar School I was fortunate to be taught by the late Peter Brook who gave me plenty of encouragement. My favourite medium is oils, and I work mainly from photographs.

I often take these pictures while out walking with my two Bernese Mountain Dogs. I like painting anything that catches my eye, particularly places of local history, old mills, terraced buildings and railway stations, it feels like stepping back in time. I display my art at exhibitions in Yorkshire and Lancashire, I’ll be adding details of upcoming events soon.
